DEFENSIVE AND ADVANCED
DRIVING COURSE

The AA Rescue Driving Consultancy in tandem with the
Learner drivers’ scheme remains our power to change the
prevailing culture. It is designed to train and/or
re-orientate supposedly advanced drivers (both corporate
and individual) who in most cases learnt their driving
skills in a largely disorganized setting and lack the
very basic knowledge of the Highway Code on safe driving
and proper vehicle handling.
It is a multi-staged training programme with a
curriculum designed to embrace all aspects of motoring
including recent theoretical and practical developments
in safe driving.
We have through this training been able to inculcate in
drivers good driving culture that has led to a reduction
in reckless driving and road accidents by instilling in
them a sense of responsibility to themselves, their
passengers and other road users. It also enlightens them
on various road signs and signals, lines and lanes
markings etc thus curbing the ruthless and careless
manner with which official vehicles are handled on our
roads.
With courses like DEFENSIVE AND ADVANCED DRIVING COURSE,
CAPACITY BUILDING FOR THE ADVANCED DRIVERS and THE
CORPORATE DRIVER, we cover topics like:
Ø The Defensive Driver.
Ø Revision of the Highway Code.

at ensuring that your organization enjoys the benefit
